I am a Psychodynamic Counsellor, Accredited and Registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I provide counselling for individual young people and adults. Counselling arrangements can be short-term or open ended, depending on each client’s needs.
I help clients who experience anxiety, worry, depression, sadness or stress about their past, present or future.
I help clients who are living with loss or trauma and with those in difficult relationships or situations. Clients might be facing competing demands or difficult decisions. There may be significant life changes or struggles with identity and belonging. There are many reasons and experiences which can feel overwhelming to go through alone, but within the counselling relationship, each of the client’s experiences and feelings are explored and worked through together; working together towards improved mental health and well-being.
In addition to my private practice, I work in a counselling organisation as a Tutor to Student Counsellors, and as a Counsellor to patients and clients referred via the NHS and other organisations.
